Hampta Pass is considered to be the most convenient and do able treks of Himachal Pradesh. Starting from Manali Valley this trek offers different varieties of landscapes ranging from lush green valleys, beautiful flowers, open pastures, meadows, glacial valleys and finally an exciting climb to the pass. The trail is of easy to moderate grade and hence is suitable for all type of trekkers. This trek offers a complete change of landscape right from green valleys of Manali to rocky valley of Spiti with a glimpse of snow clad peaks and glaciers on the way to the pass.

  • From Manali 25 km ride to Jobra in a cab.
  • An easy 3 km trek to Chika campsite from Jobra.
  • A quick introduction with team members and fellow trekkers at the camp site
  • Dinner and rest at Chika campsite.

  • After the breakfast departure to Balu Ka Ghera from Chika.
  • Pass through beautiful valleys offering some stunning landscapes with river crossing at Jwara.
  • Arrival and Hot lunch at the campsite
  • Evening acclimatization walk to the nearby areas.
  • Dinner and rest at the campsite. 

  • After the breakfast ,steep climb to Hampta Pass.
  • Packed lunch on the way.
  • Arrival at the Shea Goru campsite
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the camps

  • Departure from Shea Goru campsite to Chatru after breakfast.
  • 7 km easy descend trek to Chatru and drive to Chandratal
  • Reach Chandratal and enjoy the mesmerizing view of the lake
  • Explore the lake & drive back to Chatru
  • Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

  • Departure from Chattru after breakfast
  • Arrival in Manali by evening

  • Diamox-Mountain Sickness, Crocin-Fever, Avomine-Motion Sickness, Avil 25mg - Allergies, Combiflam, Disprinheadache, Norflox TZ & Lomofen - diarrhoea, digene-acidity, omez/rantadine antacid, crepe bandages, band aids, ORS, betadiene or antiseptic cream, moov spray/volini, cotton, gauze.

Personal Care and toiletries:

  • Lip Balm and Cold Cream, Sun Cap or Sunscreen (SPF 30+) Tooth brush, Tooth paste, Liquid soap, Hand Sanitizers, Slippers, Light Towel, Toilet Roll. (Avoid wet tissues as they are not eco friendly)
Booking Policy (short events of duration 0 to 3 days)
  • Booking shall only be confirmed once received Part/full payments in advance
  • 30% advance amount while confirmation
  • 70% balance amount minimum 3 days prior to departure date
Cancellation Policy
  • 100% refund 14days prior to departure date, exclusive of GST.
  • 30% cancellation charges if cancellation done between 14 to 3 days prior to departure date or full amount can be transferred to any of our upcoming short event in next two month. It cannot be transferred to another participant.
  • 70% cancellation charges if cancellation done between 3 to 1 days prior to departure date or 50% amount can be transferred to any of our upcoming short event in next two month. It cannot be transferred to another participant.
  • Fees are neither refundable nor transferable if cancellation done, less than 1 day prior to event date.

  • Porter/mule charges (Personal), Back pack offloading Charges
  • Cost of Evacuation in case of emergency
  • There is a certain level of unpredictability, uncertainty and discomfort associated with any Tours/Trips/Adventure/Outdoors activity. Things may not go as planned. Organizers/ Leaders/Associated members and Representatives of Deja-vu tours have power to make decisions in favors of each participant.
  • Instructions and rules have been adopted for the safe enjoyment of the activity and I agree to adhere to those regulations mentioned or instructed during the event.
  • Smoking or drinking alcohol, indulging in drugs or doing anything that leads to intoxication is restricted during any activities that involve risks. We do not encourage it to do the same anywhere else.
  • Any inconvenience created for fellow participants, organizers, respective owners of the property or locals in terms of Intentional delays, property damage, Vehicle Damage, abuse or misbehave may lead to termination of participation.
